Easter Chick

With Easter fast approaching I thought I would get busy making some Easter Cards. I hope you like this card with a cute chick peeking out from behind the egg.

I have used some new products – Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper and Gilded Gems.

Ring out the Old: Bring in the New. Many Merry Thanks

I am posting a photo of my Christmas Thank You card. One may be coming your way soon.

The sentiment is from the Dashing Deer stamp set and the small piece of green DSP is from the Frosted Floral Suite (these items are still available for 2 more days). Everything else I used is from either the new Occasions Catalogue or the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, both coming on 3 January. Look out for Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets and matching enamel dots. Also did you notice the rectangle stitched die that I used.

I have mailed out the new catalogues so expect your copies soon and please let me know if you would like me to send you some to pass on to your friends.

Joyous Noel Speciality DSP

Hi Everyone,

This afternoon I am posting a photo of a beautiful card made by one of my very creative customers – Christine.  This is an easel card showcasing Joyous Noel Specialty DSP (each sheet is printed with Copper foil accents).  The card base is Tranquil Tide with a Merry Merlot double mount topped with a piece of Joyous Noel DSP.  This card also features the Detailed Deer Thinlit dies and Dashing Deer Stamp Set.

Until next time Happy Stampin’

Dashing Deer

Hi Everyone.

Today I am sharing a card I made using the Dashing Deer Stamp Set and the Detailed Deer Thinlit Dies.  I cut out the deer from a piece  of Whisper White card (save the white deer for another project) and then embossed the white card front using the new Swirls & Curls Embossing folder.  The white card front is then adhered on top of a piece of Tranquil Tide Glimmer Paper and a Copper Glimmer Paper deer is then mounted over the cut out using Mini Dimensionals.   I finished the card with a Christmas tag and cute flower shapes – all from the Dashing Deer Bundle.

Happy Stampin’

Mistletoe Season

I am sharing a scrapbooking page this week.  I have used ‘Under The Mistletoe’ designer paper and ‘Mistletoe Season’ stamp set.  The co-ordinating card stock is Real Red.

This page is suitable for landscape or portrait photos 2×3, 4×4, 4×6 or 5×7.

Oh So Eclectic

This week I have made two note pad holders that are just right to place on the fridge for shopping lists.

I have used my very favourite stamp set ‘Oh So Eclectic’.  This set uses two step stamping to give a watercolour effect.  There are also matching thinlit dies.

Enjoy.

It’s Your Day

Here is another of my favourite stamp sets – ‘Around the Corner’.

We used the Stamparatus to stamp the two corner images in two different colours at the one time.  How good is that.  The card stock and inks are  Blueberry Bushel and Lovely Lipstick.  I finished the card with the new lightweight glimmer paper and the cute cupcake with an adhesive backed candle embellishment.

Stamparatus Magic

At my recent class we used the Stamparatus stamping platform to make this card.  We used Abstract Impressions stamp set to repeat theThank You sentiment.   As well, we stamped over the sentiment with a swoosh from the same stamp set.  The card stock is Call Me Clover and I used Call Me Clover grosgrain ribbon to tie the cute bow.

Christmas In July

I can’t help but celebrate Christmas in July.  Especially when we have such striking Christmas paper – Under The Mistletoe.  I have teamed the DSP with two embossing folders – Climbing Vine and Tufted.  Of course I had to add some Basic Jewels: Clear and Red Rhinestones.
